With the Sharp increase in Price in 2025 for live trout per kg , We opted to drop the 4 hour ticket in order we keep our prices from increasing. Our Full days Catch & Release ticket has remained at £20 giving Anglers value for their Money.

We have also introduced our popular loyalty card which gives anglers a free day on us when filled - fill 5 days get your 6th free. Rewarding our loyal customers is paramount to us ! This runs from April - October.

We have introduced our Evening ticket from 5pm - Close for only £15 - April - September.

We are closed to the Public on a Monday as this is a dedicated day for Members alone.

We are closed on Thursdays to all Anglers to rest the lake as this makes for improved Angling.

We do not offer Bait Angling at Hillside Trout Fishery for a few reasons.

🔹 Bait Anglers Behaviour in the Past ruining it for themselves.

🔹 The Price of Live trout vs the price of a kill ticket.

🔹 We stock Rainbows from 1.5lb - 26lb in weight including Triploid Brown Trout. Bait Angling would decimate our stock levels.

🔹 We are a catch & release fishery therefore are unsuitable for bait angling. 

We currently Stock Rainbow Trout - there is 3 varieties of this strain within the lake.

We currently stock Triploid Brown Trout.

We have 1 Koi Carp - Goldie our Mascot.

We have 20 1 year old Grass Carp to help with lake maintenance.
